Whilst filming for new projects Ross spent time on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef capturing the natural history of the humpback whales which migrate up from Antartica. Filming in the warm tropical clear waters here he was able to swim with the whales and record some extraordinary footage of these wonderful animals. Often the humpbacks would be observed swimming amongst the amazing coral formations creating some memorable moments for the motion picture cameras.
